High Court allows TNB to quash RM1.8bil tax claim

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The High Court here has allowed Tenaga Nasional Berhad’s (TNB) judicial review application to set aside the Inland Revenue Board’s (LHDN) RM1.8bil tax assessment for the year 2018.

Judge Datuk Noorin Badaruddin in her ruling agreed that the said amount (RM1.8bil) was considered reinvestment allowance (RA).
