PETALING JAYA: The Transport Ministry through its agency the Marine Department has taken immediate steps via emergency procurement to appoint a contractor to carry out dredging work in the jetty basin at Kuala Perlis jetty.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) said the dredging work, which began on Sunday, would be completed on Feb 20.
