MMEA detains Panama-registered vessel for illegal anchoring


KOTA TINGGI: A Panama-registered vessel was detained by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) for illegal anchoring near Tanjung Balau, here.

Johor MMEA director First Admiral Nurul Hizam Zakaria said the 243m long ship was apprehended in the eastern sea of Johor, 11.6 nautical miles (21km) east of Tanjung Balau at 1pm on Friday (Jan 31).
