‘Dr Ganja’ pleads not guilty to 36 drug offences


SHAH ALAM: A retired military officer known as Dr Ganja was ordered by the High Court here to enter his defence on 39 drug-related charges under the Dangerous Drugs Act. Judicial commissioner Julia Ibrahim made the decision after finding that the prosecution had succeeded in proving a prima facie case against Kapt (R) Amiruddin @ Nadarajan Abdullah, 63, at the end of the prosecution’s case.

The court fixed April 7, 8, 13 and 18 for the hearing.
