High Court judge receives award from Selangor Ruler

KLANG: Kuala Lumpur High Court judge Justice Datuk Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali has been conferred the Datuk Paduka Mahkota Selangor (DPMS) award by Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

Justice Mohd Nazlan, who received the award which carries the Datuk title for men and Datin Paduka title for women, was the judge who sentenced former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to a 12-year jail term and a RM210mil fine in the SRC International corruption case.The judge was among 87 people who received various awards and medals in an investiture ceremony in conjunction with Sultan Sharafuddin’s 76th birthday at Istana Alam Shah yesterday.
