PETALING JAYA: Kidney patients in Yong Peng, Johor, received some early Chinese New Year cheer when Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong paid them a visit.

The MCA president also gave the patients at the NSCMH Dialysis Care centre in Yong Peng some festive gifts to mark the occasion.

“For every major celebration like Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Deepavali, I would visit patients undergoing haemodialysis and those who are in need,” said Dr Wee in a Facebook post Saturday (Jan 22).

He said his service centre has been working together with the Lions Club of Yong Peng to organise such charitable events since 2005.

“I hope our presence has managed to bring them some cheer in conjunction with this festival,” said Dr Wee, who is also Transport Minister.
