Covid-19: Legoland Water Park closed until Jan 21 after several staff members infected

JOHOR BARU: The Legoland Water Park will be temporarily closed here from Wednesday (Jan 12) until next Friday (Jan 21), but other attractions within Legoland Malaysia Resort will remain open.

In a statement, Legoland Malaysia Resort said the precautionary measure was taken after a few staff members tested positive for Covid-19 during scheduled testing, in line with its stringent protocols.

"This proactive decision was taken to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff alike and also to maintain the highest quality of hospitality service and guest experience levels.

"During this time, Legoland Theme Park, Sea Life and Hotel will remain open with all rigorous health safety measures and standard operating procedures in place," according to a statement on Friday (Jan 14).
