Engineer fined RM6,000 for selling obscene photos via app


PETALING JAYA: The Sessions Court today fined an engineer RM6,000 in default six months jail after he pleaded guilty to selling obscene photographs of a woman for RM100 through the Telegram application two years ago.

Judge Norshila Kamaruddin handed down the sentence on Mohd Azri Zahari, 34, who had used the applications service to provide obscene communication for commercial purposes to a man using an account named ‘Menteri Pasola’.
