Floods: Fewer victims at shelters in Johor on Saturday (Jan 8)

JOHOR BARU: The number of flood victims in the state has dropped to 3,872 people from 1,090 families as of 8am Saturday (Jan 8) compared to 4,496 people from 1,242 families at the same time on Friday (Jan 7).

Johor Health and Environment Committee chairman R. Vidyananthan said that good weather has continued to allow places previously affected by floods to slowly improve and evacuees allowed to return home.
