Almost 3,000 people nabbed, over RM1mil seized in gambling raids in KL last year, say cops


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 2,933 individuals were arrested and RM1.12mil in cash seized in connection with gambling activities in the city last year, says Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk Seri Abd Jalil Hassan (pic).

He said this resulted from 1,528 raids which were conducted to eradicate online gambling.
