‘Brace for second wave of floods’

PETALING JAYA: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has advised the rakyat to brace for a second wave of floods while the government has been instructed to ensure disaster preparedness is at the highest level.

The King’s advice came after the Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a yellow alert of continuous rain forecast for the states of Sabah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Johor following the current monsoon surge which is expected to continue until Sunday.
