Floods: Istana Negara Disaster Relief Team helps victims in Selangor

KLANG: About 100 Istana Negara employees and officers were on the ground Friday (Dec 24) providing help and donations to flood victims in Klang, Shah Alam, Hulu Langat and Kuala Langat, the worst-affected districts in Selangor.

Istana Negara Disaster Relief Team operations director Brigadier-General Datuk Mohamed Zahari Yahya said the setting up of the relief team was the idea of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah himself.
