NSE stretch reopened to traffic after sinkhole repairs

IPOH: The right lane northbound between KM272 and KM273 of the North-South Expressway has been reopened to traffic.

A PLUS Malaysia Bhd spokesman said maintenance work on the lane has been completed following the discovery of a sinkhole there on Tuesday (Dec 21).

"PLUS assures that the location is safe for highway users.

"PLUS appreciates the cooperation and understanding of all customers throughout the maintenance exercise," the spokesman said on Thursday (Dec 23).

"Highway customers are advised to remain cautious and alert during the current rainy season," the spokesman added.
