Floods: Victims touched by visit of PM's wife, daughter at relief centres

PETALING JAYA: Flood victims at several temporary relief centres (PPS) in Selangor were surprised by the presence of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s wife Datin Seri Muhaini Zainal Abidin and his daughter Datin Nina Sabrina Ismail Sabri.

Muhaini and her eldest daughter Nina were present without the presence of security and protocol, and greeted the victims as well as presented them with donations of basic necessities.

It is understood that both of them visited several PPS since Monday (Dec 20) morning, starting from Dewan Kekwa Shah Alam City Council PPS, Section 17 Shah Alam, Sekolah Rendah Agama Sementa PPS and Sekolah Rendah Agama Dusun Nanding PPS.

Most of the flood victims stationed at the PPS did not expect their presence, and some even teared up because they were overwhelmed by the concern shown by the Prime Minister's wife and daughter.

According to one of the victims, apart from being kind and providing assistance to the victims, the Prime Minister's wife also advised them to be patient and persevere in the face of trials from Allah SWT.
