Floods: More victims evacuated from Taman Sri Muda, focus now on food supply, says S'gor MB

PETALING JAYA: More flood victims have been evacuated from Taman Sri Muda, Section 25, Shah Alam, with the help from General Operations Force (GOF) and Fire and Rescue Department personnel, says Amirudin Shari.

The Selangor Mentri Besar said that more than 30 boats were involved in efforts to rescue flood victims there.

He added that the flood waters in the area had begun to recede to 1m to 2m deep.

"The main focus at this time is the food supply for the victims," Amirudin said in a tweet at 10.20am Monday (Dec 20).
