Floods: Khairy visits flood-hit areas in Shah Alam

SHAH ALAM: Khairy Jamaluddin has visited Sections 20 and 23 here, which has been cut off from the road leading to Kota Kemuning due to floods.

The Health Minister also visited flood victims at the Dewan Alamanda temporary evacuation centre in Section 20 on Sunday (Dec 19).

He said The Health Ministry would also supply medicine, face masks and hand sanitisers to victims.

He later visited the Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah in Klang and observed the field hospital set up together with Mercy Malaysia.

He also spoke to healthcare providers who were unable to return home due to the floods and ensured their needs were taken care of.

Also present was the Health Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Mohd Shafiq Abdullah.
