Flood Alert: Gurdwara Sahib Petaling Jaya to prepare free food for victims


PETALING JAYA: The Gurdwara Sahib here is preparing free food for those affected by the flash flooding.

In a statement on Sunday (Dec 19), it said that it would be delivering free meals in bulk to the affected areas.

"Any kind of assistance and resources will be greatly appreciated. We require manpower and resources to provide transportation to the affected areas," it said.

The continuous downpour in several states since Friday (Dec 17) has caused flash floods in housing areas and main roads across six states in Peninsular Malaysia.
