Sarawak Polls: PSB wins Batu Lintang, Bawang Assan


KUCHING: Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) has managed to secure two seats in the Sarawak State Election.

See Chee How managed to secure the Batu Lintang seat for a third term, winning by a razor-thin majority of 93 votes, according to the Election Commission.

See polled 4,420 votes against GPS’ Sih Hua Tong’ who garnered 4,327 votes, PKR’s Cherishe Ng (1,823), Parti Bumi Kenyalang's Voon Lee Shan (1,570) and Aspirasi’s Leong Shaow Tung (187).

PSB president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh officially won the Bawang Assan seat after securing a 913-vote majority.

Wong polled 5,952 in a five-cornered fight against GPS’ Robert Lau (5,039).

Those who lost their deposits were DAP’s Amy Lau who managed to garner 1,173 votes, PBK’s Michelle Ling (954) and independent Ricky Enteri (645).
