Perlis announces special financial aid for civil servants, pensioners

KANGAR: The Perlis government announced a special financial assistance of RM900 for all civil servants of Grade 56 and below in the state as a token of appreciation for their contributions to the state administration.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azlan Man (pic) when tabling the state Budget 2022 at the State Legislative Assembly sitting, here, also announced that pensioners in Perlis would receive a special financial assistance of RM550.

He hoped that the assistance would motivate the civil servants to continue serving with full dedication.

Azlan also praised the civil servants in the state for discharging their duties by adopting four noble characteristics or FAST - trustworthiness (siddiq); integrity (amanah); communicative (tabligh), and intelligence (fathonah).

"However, we cannot rest on our past laurels because we are now facing dynamic situation and challenges. We are grateful that the civil servants in the state have done their best," he said.- Bernama
