Melaka Polls: Remove all campaign materials by Friday or lose deposit, local authority warns

MELAKA: Political parties that contested in the Melaka election are given until this Friday to remove all campaign materials put up in the Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council (MPHTJ) administrative areas to avoid losing the RM5,000 installation deposit.

MPHTJ president Datuk Shadan Othman said about 40% of party flags and campaign materials including banners and posters in the MPHTJ administrative areas have not been removed as of Tuesday (Nov 23).
