Johor proposing revised SOP for congregational prayers in mosques, surau, no physical distancing mulled


ISKANDAR PUTERI: The state government will propose two sets of revised standard operating procedures (SOP) for congregational prayers in mosques and surau, one of which is to do away with physical distancing.

"We have been receiving a lot of enquiries from the public who want to know when congregational prayers can be performed like it was before the pandemic," said Johor Islamic religious affairs committee chairman Tosrin Jarvanthi.
