Melaka Polls: MCA's Lim Ban Hong arrives at nomination centre for Klebang seat

MELAKA: Datuk Lim Ban Hong who is contesting the N14 Klebang seat under the Barisan Nasional MCA ticket arrived at 9am at the nomination centre.

With him were a proposer and a seconder at the Dewan Japerun Klebang nomination centre.

Candidates are now allowed to submit their nomination papers until 10am with another hour provided for objection.

The nomination process will end at 11am.

Adherence to the standard operating procedures (SOP) against Covid-19 infection was in order as Election Commission staff were stationed at the various checkpoints to ensure those allowed to enter were not having symptoms and are fully vaccinated.

PAS candidate for the N14 Klebang seat Bakri Jamaludin together with his nominee and supporter filed his nomination papers at 9.18am at the Dewan Japerun Klebang nomination centre.

Earlier, PKR's Datuk Gue Teck was first to arrive at the nomination centre at 8.30am.
