Budget 2022: RM52.6bil allocation for Education Ministry, says Tengku Zafrul


PETALING JAYA: The Education Ministry is the biggest recipient of allocations in Budget 2022, receiving a total of RM52.6bil.

Meanwhile, the Higher Education Ministry will receive RM14.5bil, Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said while tabling Budget 2022 in the Dewan Rakyat on Friday (Oct 29).

He also said RM450mil has been allocated for the PerantiSiswa Keluarga Malaysia, which would be used to provide 600,000 higher education students from the B40 group tablets.
