Unexpected drive-thru: Starving man faints at the wheel, crashes car into several stalls

KAJANG: A driver who fainted at the wheel crashed his car into another vehicle and several stalls in Taman Jenaris here on Wednesday (Oct 27).

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan, in a statement Thursday (Oct 28), said that there were no injuries reported in the Wednesday evening incident.

"At around 6pm, the 39-year-old driver was seen driving against the flow of traffic before hitting a car.

"He then lost control of his vehicle following the collision and collided into the stalls there.

"Investigations showed that the driver had fainted while driving due to not eating and when he regained consciousness, he panicked, causing the crash," ACP Zaid said.

A urine test confirmed that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol at the time.
