Govt to introduce Digital ID system that strengthens MyKad security, says Home Ministry


PETALING JAYA: In line with the current need for digital and online services and transactions, the government will introduce the Digital Identity (Digital ID) initiative, says Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.

The Home Minister said the planning and implementation process began in 2021 and was expected to be fully implemented in 2024.
