KUCHING (Bernama): Two things must be done before the 12th Sarawak state election can be held, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Parliament and Law) Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar (pic).
Firstly, he said the emergency proclamation until Feb 2, 2022 as declared by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah would have to be terminated earlier with the King’s consent, if necessary.
