PETALING JAYA:Self-testing for Covid-19 must be an essential part of the healthcare system when the country moves into the endemic phase as expected at the end of October, says the Alliance for Safe Community.
Its chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said although the move to cap the ceiling price of Covid-19 self-test kits at RM19.90 down from a previous high of RM39.90 is welcomed, the government must consider eventually giving the test kits free to the people.
