Nine localities in Pahang, Sabah under EMCO from Aug 26-Sept 8


PETALING JAYA: Nine areas in Pahang and Sabah have been placed under the enhanced movement control order.

National Security Council (NSC) director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad, in a statement, said that localities in Tawau, Kota Belud, Panampang and Beaufort would be under the enhanced MCO from Aug 26 until Sept 8.

In Pahang, three areas in Cameron Highlands will also be under the enhanced MCO during the same period.

Meanwhile, the enhanced MCO at Felda Jengka 25, Felda Tersang 1, 2 and 3 in Pahang, and in Ladang Kerilla, Kelantan will end on Aug 25 as scheduled.

The enhanced MCO in Kubang Sawa, Kelantan will end two days ahead of schedule, also on Aug 25.

The enhanced MCO in 14 localities in Sabah will end on Aug 25, with three ending ahead of schedule.
