IPOH: Taman Rakyat in Taiping has become the seventh residential area to be adopted under the Perak police Amanita programme.
Perak police chief Comm Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid (pic) said Amanita is a special unit consisting of policewomen and engages with housewives in the selected areas to reduce crime in the neighbourhood.
