Zahid's VLN corruption trial to resume on Aug 25


SHAH ALAM (Bernama): After being postponed twice due to the movement control order, the trial of Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic) on 40 corruption charges in connection with the Foreign Visa System (VLN) will finally resume at the High Court here on Aug 25.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Datuk Raja Rozela Raja Toran when contacted through WhatsApp said the trial of the former deputy prime minister would be held for three days, namely on Aug 25 as well as on Sept 1 and 2 before Judge Datuk Mohd Yazid Mustafa.
