Symptomatic hospital admissions now new indicator for NRP phases, says Tengku Zafrul

PETALING JAYA: Symptomatic new hospital admission cases are now a new indicator for the National Recovery Plan, says Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

In a statement on Saturday (Aug 7), Tengku Zafrul said that the special session of the National Security Council (NSC) and the National Recovery Council (NRC) chaired by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin this week considered and decided to use a new indicator, which is the “number of symptomatic new hospital admissions” as one of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) phase transition indicators.
