Police to call wedding planner over SOP breach


KUALA LUMPUR: The police will call up a wedding planner to give her statement for allegedly holding a wedding ceremony during Phase One of the National Recovery Plan (NRP).Wangsa Maju deputy police chief DSP D. Saralathan said the police received a report after a picture of the wedding ceremony went viral on Instagram on Saturday.

A check on the picture found that it was held on July 27 and that the individuals in attendance did not observe physical distancing.
