Covid-19: Only 0.1% of new cases critical, says Dr Noor Hisham


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Only 0.1% or 13 of the 13,034 new Covid-19 cases reported on Thursday (July 22) are Category Five patients requiring respiratory aid in the intensive care unit (ICU) for 21 days, says Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

He added that another 72 cases or 0.5% were in Category Four which refers to cases with pneumonia who need oxygen supplementation and ICU care for an average of 14 days.
