Civil Defence Force puts 70-strong team on standby for flood rescue ops in Central Seberang Prai

GEORGE TOWN: The Central Seberang Prai Civil Defence Force is prepared for the eventuality of floods following the current monsoon shift.

Its Disaster Management Secretariat said in a statement on Sunday (July 11) the force is ready with assets and personnel as well as standard operating procedure to rescue and relocate flood victims in enhanced movement control order (MCO) areas to temporary relief centres.
