Covid-19: 236,196 vaccine jabs given on Friday (July 2)

PETALING JAYA: A total of 236,196 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered on Friday (July 2), says the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).

The committee added that of this total, 167,059 people received their first dose of the vaccine.

"Some 69, 137 people completed both doses of the vaccine on Friday," JKJAV said in a tweet Saturday (July 3).

As of Friday, JKJAV said that 8,582,893 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country.

A total of 6, 119,874 people, or 18.7% of those eligible, have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine while 2,463,019 people, or 7.5% of those eligible, have completed their inoculation against Covid-19.
