Khairy: Media personnel to get Covid-19 vaccination appointments by early June


PUTRAJAYA: Media personnel will get their much-awaited vaccination appointments by early June, says Khairy Jamaluddin.

The coordinating minister for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme said the names of 5,867 media practitioners had been sent for checks and to be given appointments.

“The media will be given their vaccination appointments by early June, ” he said on Monday (May 31).

In April, Khairy had said that Malaysian journalists will receive their Covid-19 vaccine shots in May.

Malaysia is currently in the second phase of its Covid-19 vaccination programme which is meant for the elderly, the disabled and those with comorbidities.
