Man found hanged at entrance of community service centre in Batang Kali


HULU SELANGOR: A man was found hanged from a ceiling near the entrance of the Hulu Selangor community service centre in Batang Kali.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Arsad Kamaruddin said the body of the 41-year-old man was found at about 7.30am on Monday (May 24).

"The body was sent to Hospital Kuala Kubu Baru for further action.

"Post-mortem will be conducted after Covid-19 test results have been obtained," he said when contacted on Monday.

The victim has prior criminal records, including for drug related offences, he added.

"We have not found any foul play with regards to the incident. The case has been classified as sudden death.

"We also urge those with information to contact the police as soon as possible," he added.
