PETALING JAYA: All appointments for the AstraZeneca vaccine have been sent out, said the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee (JKJAV).
“All appointments for the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine rollout have been issued.
“For those who did not manage to obtain an appointment (i.e. due to mismatched or incorrect details), please do not worry, as you are still slotted in the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme, ” it said in a tweet on Friday (May 7).
It urged people who have yet to register for the immunisation programme to do so.
Last Sunday (May 2), online bookings for appointments to receive about 268,000 AstraZeneca vaccines were opened and snapped up in about three hours.
Those who successfully registered will receive their vaccine appointments on the MySejahtera app.
The immunisation programme's coordinating minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the opt-in programme for the AstraZeneca vaccine will be expanded to more people in Malaysia as another 1.1 million doses are expected to arrive this month.
