Covid-19: 3,418 new cases bring total to 415,012


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 3,418 Covid-19 cases on Sunday (May 2), bringing the cumulative total to 415,012.

In the same 24-hour period, there were 12 fatalities, bringing the death toll to 1,533.

There were also 2,698 recoveries, which means 383,140 have recovered from the disease nationwide.

There are still 345 patients in intensive care units, with 175 requiring ventilation support.

Furthermore, Selangor recorded the highest number of cases at 1,200, followed by Sarawak at 587 and Kelantan at 400.
