HR Ministry launches e-Wages system to ensure foreign workers get paid in ‘real-time’

PETALING JAYA: The government has launched an e-Wages system to ensure that foreign workers receive their salaries where monthly payment will be monitored by the authorities, says Datuk Seri M. Saravanan (pic).

The Human Resources Minister said that monthly salary payments made by employers will be monitored by the e-Wages system in “real-time”, in order to ensure that wages were paid to foreign workers before the seventh of each month, according to the Employment Act 1955.
