Perlis MB Azlan replaces Shahidan as Perlis Umno liaison body chairman

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Azlan Man will replace Datuk Seri Dr Shahidan Kassim as the Perlis Umno liaison body chairman.

Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said this change will take effect Saturday (April 24).

Azlan is currently the Perlis Mentri Besar and Kangar Umno chief.

Talk is rife that Shahidan was dropped as liaison chairman because he was vocal on Umno continuing to cooperate with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia in the 15th general election.
