Fahmi Reza remanded a day in Spotify playlist probe

KUALA LUMPUR: Graphic designer Fahmi Reza (pic) will only be remanded for a day following his arrest in connection with sedition investigations.

Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed confirmed this when contacted.

“The magistrate has allowed a one-day remand order (April 24) on Fahmi Reza,” he said.

Yesterday, the artist was arrested by police for alleged sedition.

Previously, a police report was lodged against Fahmi for allegedly insulting the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah through his Facebook account.

It is believed that his arrest was due to his "Dengki ke?" Spotify playlist.
