KUALA LUMPUR: Although those who have received vaccinations against the novel coronavirus can still contract the Covid-19, the chances of suffering a severe version of the illness are low, says National Cancer Society of Malaysia medical director Dr M. Muralitharan.
As such, he said getting vaccinated was definitely more effective than not getting the vaccination, especially for high-risk groups such as the elderly and those with comorbidities.
