Zahid sues Mkini for RM220mil for defamation over reports on his trial

KUALA LUMPUR: News portal Malaysiakini has been sued for RM220mil by Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi for defamation over its coverage of the Umno president's corruption trial.

The writ of summons was filed through Messrs Shahrul Hamidi & Haziq on Wednesday (March 24).
