29 foreigners held for working in restaurants without a permit

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 29 foreign workers were detained for not having valid documents following raids at two restaurants in Kampung Abu Bakar Baginda, Kajang, and Presint 11, Putrajaya.

Immigration Department director-general Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud said the operation carried out on Tuesday (March 23) was based on a public tip-off.
