Sixteen tonnes and what do you get? Malaysian Customs' biggest drug haul yet


NILAI: The Customs Department scored its biggest-ever success against drug smuggling when it seized 94.8mil Captagon pills worth about RM5.2bil at Port Klang, Selangor.

Customs director-general Datuk Seri Abdul Latif Abdul Kadir (pic) said on Tuesday (March 23) the pills, which contain the amphetamine drug fenethylline hydrochloride, weighed 16 tonnes in total.
