Graft charges against Zahid not due to change of government, says witness


KUALA LUMPUR: The investigating officer in the graft case of Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has denied allegations that the Umno president was slapped with criminal charges due to the change of government following GE14, the High Court heard.

Khairudin Kilau, who led the investigation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), said his probe was based on facts as well as documentary and oral evidence.
