PM, Health DG get their second dose of Covid-19 vaccine


PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at the Precinct 18 Putrajaya Health Clinic.

The premier arrived at the clinic at 3.05pm and received the jab at 3.16pm.

He was greeted by Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba and Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Dr Noor Hisham also received his second vaccine shot together with Muhyiddin at 3.20pm.

Both of them were the first two people in Malaysia to be vaccinated for Covid-19 on Feb 24.

The vaccine, developed by Pfizer-BioNTech, has to be administered in two parts, with at least a 21-day interval between the shots.
