Prosecution failed to prove RM114mil seized from Pavilion Residences linked to 1MDB, Umno's lawyer tells court


KUALA LUMPUR: The prosecution has failed to prove that the millions of ringgit seized from Pavilion Residences in 2018 is linked to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), argues Umno's lawyer at the High Court.

Lawyer Datuk Hariharan Tara Singh, representing Umno, who is a third party claimant, said there was no evidence before the court of the nexus between monies allegedly misappropriated from 1MDB and the RM114mil cash seized by police from Pavilion Residences.
