SHAH ALAM: Police have seized around 69kg of suspected syabu following the arrest of three drug “couriers”.

Acting Selangor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed, in a press conference on Wednesday (March 3) at the contingent headquarters here, said that the three drug busts were conducted on Feb 26.

“Two were in Serdang. The second raid there saw the arrest of two suspects. From there, a third suspect was arrested in Ampang Jaya.

“Investigations showed that the three were responsible for transporting the drugs from a neighbouring country. They said that they were paid around RM10,000 per trip, ” he said.

The police are probing further to identify the structure of this drug syndicate, he added.

The estimated value of the drugs was put at around RM3.1mil.
